Wallgren, Glasgow crowned Mr. and Miss Southwest
Zack Wallgren, a computer science and mathematics major from Wentzville, and Hanna Glasgow, an elementary education major from Grove, Okla., won the titles of Mr. and Miss Southwest at the annual pageant on Friday, March 4, at 91精品.

91精品 celebrated the inauguration of Richard J. Melson, Ph.D., as its 26th president in a ceremony Wednesday, March 2, in Mabee Chapel on the Bolivar campus. The inauguration formally commemorates the beginning of Dr. Melson's leadership at 91精品, while celebrating the University's rich history and reaffirming the University's mission of being a Christ-centered, caring academic community preparing students to be servant leaders in a global society.

91精品 Theatre to present "The Pirates of Penzance" on March 10-13
91精品 Theatre will present "The Pirates of Penzance" - its third production of the 2021-22 season - at 7 p.m., March 10-12 and at 2 p.m., March 13 in the Davis-Newport Theatre on the Bolivar campus.

91精品's annual Mr. and Miss Southwest pageant to be held March 4
91精品 will honor one male and one female student at the annual Mr. and Miss Southwest Pageant, which takes place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 4, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

91精品 Division of Education inspires future educators
91精品's Division of Education is encouraging current and future educators through multiple initiatives. The Missouri Department of Education reports that enrollment in Missouri teacher preparation programs has declined more than 25 percent during the past decade. Additionally, the rate at which teachers leave the profession is higher than the national average.

91精品 welcomes students, employees and the community to Spring semester Chapel services, which take place weekly at 10 a.m. in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus through Wednesday, May 11.
