Skobel receives 91¾«Æ· Library Award

BOLIVAR, Mo. — 91¾«Æ· student Victoria Skobel of Mount Vernon, Ill., was honored by the 91¾«Æ· University Libraries as the Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for October 2017.

University Libraries’ faculty and staff established the monthly award to recognize outstanding employment characteristics – dependability, quality of work, motivation, attitude and cooperation – demonstrated by the student assistants employed at the library.

Skobel, an exercise science major, received an award letter from Dr. Edward W. Walton, dean of University Libraries, a certificate of recognition and a gift. Skobel is a student assistant in the circulation department and is one of the 30 part-time student assistants working at the library as a part of 91¾«Æ·â€™s work-study program.
